We are currently looking for applicants to fill the following positions and become a part of our team:

 

 

Instrumentation & Controls Technician I or II 

The job performs maintenance, inspection, programming, calibration, installation, and repair functions on electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic meters, recording, and control systems in a water production and treatment system.  Plant systems include computers, Progammable-Logic Controllers (PLC's) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, along with associated softrware.  Incumbent reports to the Assistant Division Manager or Maintenance Superintendent.

Education & Experience

Tech I:   High school diploma or GED required.  Requires a minimum of two (2) years training in electroncis or equivalent combination of one (1) year education and one (1) year experience.  Must be able to understand power supplies, current, voltage, and current flow to an electrical/electronic circuit.  Must be able to read and interpret electrical/electronic circuit diagrams and loop drawings, and be able to check and troubleshoot instrumentation circuits.  Requires a minimum of one (1) year training or experience in PLC's, SCADA systems and equipment in water or similar industry and five (5) years total experience in instrumentation.

Tech II:  High school ciploma or GED required.  Requires a minimum of two (2) years training in electronics or equivalent combinationof one (1) year education and one (1) year experience.  No experience required.

 

Licenses, Certificates

Requires Georgia Driver's License and a good driving history and must maintain good driving record to continue employment with the Authority.

Tech I :   Pay Grade 4  ($19.51 hr minimum to $29.26 hr maximum)

Tech II:  Pay Grade 3 ($17.54 hr minimum to $26.31 hr maximum)
