We are currently looking for applicants to fill the following positions and become a part of our team:
Reservoir Operator
Operator assists the Reservoir Manager in a variety of tasks necessary for the safe and reliable operation of a water supply dam, pump station, reservoir, and related facilities. This is a skilled position requiring experience that includes system operations and maintenance; water sampling and analysis; regulatory compliance; reporting and recordkeeping; public relations and effective communication skills. Reports to and works closely with the Reservoir Manager.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required. Combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position. Three (3) years experience in a full time position in water or wastewater treatment, reservoir, or similar industrial facility.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: State of Georgia Water Distribution, Water Analyst, Water or Wastewater Treatment Operators licenses preferred. Requires Georgia Driver's License with a good driving record.
Pay Grade 5
Entry $45,134 an/$21.70 hr
Midpoint $57,545 an/$27.67 hr
Maximum $69,957 an/$33.63 hr
Status: Overtime Eligible
